BIG NEWS AT EPC
At just 28 years old, Clémentine Reyboubet becomes Cellar Master at Champagne EPC, bringing a fresh perspective to Champagne winemaking.
She’s 28 years old, has a background in marketing, and is set to shape the EPC style for decades to come.
From Marketing to Oenology: An Unconventional Career Path
Clémentine joined EPC in 2020 as a Marketing Product Manager. Then her passion for wine took hold: WSET Level 3, the Avize Wine School, the National Diploma in Oenology in Reims… until she became the youngest female Cellar Master at a Champagne house!
Four years working alongside Richard Dailly, the winery’s longtime cellar master
For the past four years, she has been working alongside Richard Dailly, our longtime cellar master, and our partner winemakers on blends, dosages, and winemaking processes, and has even led the last two harvests for EPC…
Complement the wine rather than overpower it
For Clémentine, a wine must first and foremost evoke a response. Her philosophy is based on a simple principle: to work with the wine rather than force it. Less intervention, more precision, and always a great deal of curiosity. A curiosity that led her to develop her own winemaking software.
A true epicurean above all else!
Outside the cellars, she’s also an accomplished cook, a sports enthusiast, and a talented salsa dancer. These passions say a lot about how she views wine: as an experience to be shared, not dissected. That’s exactly the Epicurean philosophy of Champagne EPC.
“EPC is a house that has watched me grow just as much as it has helped me grow. I have the rare privilege of being able to shape this house’s style rather than simply inheriting it.”
